• To me the best representation of the Trinity is – The Father -The Word -The Holy Spirit. in my studies of the Godhead, I have tried to, like all of us, understand with a finite mind an infinite God. I do not reject the Doctrine of the Trinity, I only seek to better understand it. With the above description, it all came together for me. the Father is God in creation and authority, the Word was with God and is God and became flesh for the purpose of the redemption of man as God’s greatest creation, the Holy Spirit is God in us to lead, teach, empower, comfort and live in us. All are God, equal yet with distinction.
i cannot and will not ever proclaim to be an expert on the subject, i am just a student to the end, always seeking truth.
    God Bless, Glenn Smith Jr

In my piece Dante’s Heavenly Vision and the Physics of the Proton, I point to an image of the Trinity which God may have placed in creation, over and over again.

In the beginning Elohim (plural for one God) made man in our image, in HIS image. God is a triune being……and made mankind triune beings as well……we have a body, a spirit, and a soul but they are all part of who we are……such as it is with the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit…….as surely as time is past, present and future……this is what has helped me to understand the trinity best.

A good Illustration is this . I being a Man Have a Son ,so that makes me a Father .I also have a dad so that makes me a Son. I am a father and a son at the same time .Im also an Uncle, a nephew or a cousin , But yet Im still only a man . So God Can easily be a Father a Son and the Holy Spirit at the same time

The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost (Spirit) are 3 roles the one God has. There is only one God, one person, one Spirit, one Throne, one face and one name. Jesus is the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. There is no Trinity as it is defined by Tertullian in the 4th century. All scripture that seemingly point to mutilple ‘persons’ are explained by scripture and by the duel nature of Jesus Christ. I love all you who have made posts, however, there isn’t scripture to back up your tradition.

There is no GOOD or BAD illustration of TRINITY as there is no such thing as TRINITY. John P rightly says it all.

Jesus Bless His Name is not and cannot be the Father – He is sitting on His Father’s right hand making intercession for the saints. Father, Son and Holy Ghost – 3 separate but the agree as one – the same as the body of Christ – many members but there is only one body.

When the Son, Jesus was standing in the water at His baptism by John, the Spirit was seen descending and lighting upon Him like a dove, and the voice of the Father is heard coming from Heaven, saying, “This is my beloved Son in Whom I am well pleased.” If you can’t see three different personalities in that picture in that Scripture, you would have to do some theological contortion to explain it away.

Mt 3:16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
