A Christian Apologetics Blog

Merry Christmas and Thank You!

Tomorrow marks the 1-month milestone for our new blog site.  In a period of four weeks, we’ve had about 850 hits on our blog, which is not bad at all.  There are clearly readers out there, like you, who are interested in the topics Darrell and I are passionate about, and we want to thank you for joining us at this blog site.  We really appreciate your support and we look forward to many more months and years ahead of growing this community.

On a far more important note, we want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and we fervently pray that you will renew your love for Christ these next couple days in a more powerful way than ever before.  After all, He is the reason for everything we do.  Our families wish your families a deepening knowledge and love of God through the celebration of Jesus’ birth.

God Bless All of You!

    Bill and Darrell,
Praise God for your efforts to bring the word of God to those who have never heard it, and to those who know God’s message and reject it. I have asked myself more than once, “Why would a scientist reject God?” Science is by definition a study of the physical world and can not be expected to be capable of defining and systematically measuring non-physical things. The scientific process uses terms such as controlled methods and physical evidence. The current culture of scientific study starts with the premise; if it can not be observed and repeated through a controlled method, it can not be considered. If a scientist rejects the bible, it is not based on scientific evidence or the scientific method. The bible tells us of God’s word and of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is true that theories can and are continually established to refute the bible; however, none are based on scientific evidence.

    Romans 12:2 (New International Version)
“2 Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”

    Merry Christmas and God Bless!

    James,

Thank you for your kind words. The more I study Intelligent Design and the history of the Bible the more amazed I am that some scientists choose to dismiss it. I praise God for the evidence He has given and continues to give us for Him. Faith has always been and will always be the major component of coming to Him. But I am grateful that God Has chosen to reveal Himself to us through His creation. We can see His wonderful hand in everything!!

Have a Merry Christmas and a great New year. See you soon!!

    Darrell
